California Privacy Notice

Supplement to Diet ID Privacy Policy

 

California residents may have additional rights regarding their “personal information” as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) or otherwise.  This California Privacy Notice supplements the information provided in our Privacy Policy.  Capitalized terms used in this California Privacy Notice carry the meanings assigned to them in the CCPA or in our Privacy Policy. 

 

In general, and as described elsewhere in this policy, we collect personal information about you from several categories as defined by the CCPA.  Those categories, along with the business purpose for which we collect and use such personal information and whether we have disclosed it to any third parties in the last twelve (12) months, are as follows:

We collect this information from you directly when you submit it, and indirectly from you as you use the Site and Services.  We also collect this information from third parties including our service providers and business partners such as your employer.  We disclose this information to third parties as shown above, and also may also disclose it to our affiliates, to law enforcement or as required by law, and in connection with any sale of assets or change in control of our company.  

In the past twelve (12) months, we have not “sold” your personal information as defined by the CCPA. 

As a California resident, you may have the right to request the specific information we hold about you, and for us to delete your information, with some exceptions.  To exercise these rights, please email us at the address shown in our Privacy Policy and use “California Disclosure Information” as your subject line; or call us toll-free at

California law requires us to notify you whether the Site and Services honor the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser.  Diet ID does not currently use the “Do Not Track” standard, and it will not work on our Site and Services.
